Abstract: The article examines the problems and prospects of optimizing key business processes in private medical institutions of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of the financial and economic performance of eight clinics (“Dobrobut-Polyclinic†, “Smart Medical Center†, “Oxford Medical Clinic†, “Medicom†, “Adonis†, “INTO-SANA†, “Viva†, “TT Clinic†), significant differences in their performance levels were revealed. The study showed that the scale of activity does not guarantee efficiency: large network structures generate high revenues but remain unprofitable, while medium-sized clinics ensure stable profitability due to flexible business models. A direct correlation between the level of business process digitalization and the financial performance of clinics has been established. A set of optimization measures has been proposed, including digitalization of patient flows, automation of financial management, development of CRM systems, improvement of HR processes, and the use of big data analytics. The implementation of these measures will contribute to strengthening the financial stability and competitiveness of domestic medical institutions.
