Abstract:
Organizational development is a key factor in improving the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises in a market economy, globalization, and digital transformation. Digitalization is an important strategic factor in an enterprise's organizational development, which involves using digital technologies to transform business processes, improve efficiency, and increase competitiveness. The article analyzes the evolution of the interpretation of the concept “organizational development of an enterprise†; considers the main directions of organizational development of an enterprise in the context of digitalization; outlines the key areas of influence of digitalization on the organizational development of an enterprise; and identifies the positive effects and challenges of digitalization. Organizational development of an enterprise in the context of digitalization involves adapting the organizational structure, processes, and culture to new technologies and the requirements of the digital environment. This includes changes in management, work processes, communications, and staff training to ensure the effective integration of digital tools and the achievement of competitive advantages. To ensure sustainable organizational development in the digital economy, companies must integrate digital technologies into all business processes, foster a corporate culture focused on innovation, systematically manage risks (including cybersecurity), implement flexible organizational structures that allow for rapid adaptation, and develop human capital through training in digital competencies. Digitalization is not an end in itself, but only a tool for achieving the enterprise's strategic goals. For successful digitalization, it is necessary to develop a clear strategy that considers the specifics of the enterprise's activities, goals, and needs. It is important to note that digitalization is a continuous process that requires constant updating of knowledge and skills and adaptation to new technologies and trends. Successful digitalization can become the basis for sustainable organizational development and ensure the enterprise's competitiveness in the modern market.
