Abstract:
In the context of digitalization, human capital becomes important, as it becomes a driver of economic transformations and determines the vector of transformational processes. It is clear that only societies that pay due attention to investment and development of individual components of human capital, in accordance with the needs of today, are able to obtain positive results. Therefore, a relevant issue for today is the comprehensive disclosure of the model of management of human capital development in the context of digitalization. The purpose of this article is to determine the modern components of human capital in the context of the digital transformation of the economy and to form a human capital management model taking into account modern socio-economic challenges. The study found that the established components of human capital retain their significance, even in the context of the emergence of a digital society, but, firstly, their content and practical content are changing; secondly, they are supplemented by modern characteristics, among which digital competencies and skills, resilience and the ability to quickly adapt, continuous learning, analytical and innovative thinking, creativity, flexibility and readiness for professional transformation are highlighted. Human capital management is interpreted as a holistic and multi-level system of interconnected elements (subjects and objects) that are united by a common goal and aimed at achieving long-term socio-economic results in terms of increasing labor productivity, expanding employment opportunities, developing digital competencies and innovative activities, increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, and improving the quality of life of the population. Particular attention is paid to the disclosure of the general socio-economic model of human capital management, which is built on the basis of organizing a coordinated relationship between the management architecture, the instrumental and methodological level, and the subject-object component.
