Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to substantiate methodological approaches to the study of integration processes and to develop an analytical scheme suitable for assessing prerequisites, mechanisms, results and managerial consequences of integration. The methodology combines systemic, institutional, comparative, process-based, network, spatial-analytical, indicator-based and scenario tools with qualitative interpretation of coordination links, barriers, asymmetries and interaction outcomes. The study systematises methodological instruments according to the object of analytical attention, data sources, expected results and methodological limitations. It is argued that the analysis of integration should cover prerequisites, coordination mechanisms, exchange intensity, institutional coherence, digital compatibility, spatial structure and system resilience to external shocks. The scientific novelty lies in the formation of a research framework that links the diagnosis of integration readiness, the analysis of interaction mechanisms, the measurement of outcomes and the preparation of managerial conclusions. The practical value of the results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed scheme to the assessment of interstate, interregional, sectoral, digital and organisational integration in public administration and economic policy.
