Abstract:
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of Bangladesh's national economy. This sector plays an important role in developing our country's economy. SMEs provide low-cost employment opportunities and render flexibility to the economy. In policy strategies, smooth and sustainable development of SMEs nationwide will be used to alleviate poverty and create more jobs; however, there are regional disparities. To gather the data for this paper, a questionnaire was administered, and SPSS 20 version software was utilized to analyze the results. Therefore, the paper aims to analyze the different problems, opportunities, and difficulties associated with financing this particular sector in Kishoreganj and identify solutions. Additionally, it will review relevant literature and reports and make recommendations for supporting measures to ensure that this highly promising industrial sector operates in a fully productive way.
