Abstract: The tracking and managing of the on-shelf products and stock in an automated store is performed manually in regular periods of time. So, more resources are required, which increases the nances. Automated stores are also plagued by the major issue of shoplifting. The proposed smart shelf system solves these issues. Each shelf is equipped with load cells and RFID modules integrated with stm32 bluepill to monitor shelves in real-time. Communicating via Ether- net, they connect to a central Raspberry Pi unit, facilitating man- agerial oversight. This innovation tackles ine ciencies of manual tracking and security vulnerabilities, o ering automated solutions. By streamlining operations and enhancing stock prediction, these systems optimize customer experience while mitigating shoplift- ing risks. This integration of technology rede nes retail, providing adaptive solutions to meet contemporary market demands.
