Abstract:
The research objective is to study socio-economic and industrial development and its impact on environmental quality and unemployment in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 period. Secondary data was used for analysts in the 2017-2022 period with a cross section of 34 provinces. The result of analysis show that the industrial developments had a significant negative influence on environmental quality both before and during the pandemic, and so did on wages. Beside that it was shown that industrial developments have a positive and significant impact on education, both in the pre-pandemic and during the Pandemic. The Industry have a significant positive effect on unemployment, both before and during the pandemic. Wages did not have a significant effect on unemployment, both during the pre-pandemic and during the pandemic. Education has a positive influence on unemployment significantly in the pre-pandemic period, but did not during the pandemic. Furthermore training institutions in prior to the pandemic had not influence on unemployment, both in before and during the pandemic. Finally the wage had a negative influence significantly in both of the time
