Best Practices of E-Learning in Nursing Education: A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract: The integration of eLearning methodologies in nursing education due to technological advancements. It highlights the challenges faced by nursing faculty in preparing students to utilize these technologies effectively. The study, conducted using a Systematic Literature Review approach, focused on scholarly articles from 2010 to 2023 that utilized eLearning methods in nursing education. Results indicate that e-learning facilitates group activities, self-evaluation, and flexible scheduling. Successful eLearning implementation necessitates teacher support, training, current content, and student-faculty engagement. The conclusion emphasizes evidence-based eLearning approaches that enhance knowledge, self-directed learning, and critical thinking in nursing students, stressing the importance of faculty training and ongoing support for the effective deployment of eLearning.
