Difficulties in Learning Mathematics: A Systematic Review

Abstract: This write-up from a systematic review of research approach focuses on the difficulties of students in learning Mathematics. Findings show that difficulties include conceptual understanding and cognitive barriers, mathematics anxiety, ineffective teaching methods, socio-cultural factors and access to resources.
