Abstract: Sleep paralysis is a strange and sometimes frightening condition that many people experience at least once in their lives. It happens when a person wakes up or falls asleep and finds that they cannot move or speak, even though they are aware of their surroundings. This paper aims to explain sleep paralysis in simple terms, including how the body usually functions during this state, what causes it, and how our body reacts to it.
