Abstract: This action research explored the impact of Cue-Based Learning Activity Prompts (CLAP) on classroom engagement and management among 37 Grade 7 students at a public school in Ozamiz City. The study employed a classroom-based action research design with a mixed-methods approach to assess student participation before and after implementing CLAP. Data were gathered using instruments designed to measure classroom engagement and management effectiveness. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student engagement and positive classroom behaviors following the intervention. These results suggest that the CLAP strategy effectively enhances student participation, facilitates smoother classroom transitions, and promotes active learning. The study recommends incorporating CLAP into teacher training programs and ongoing professional development to improve classroom management and student outcomes further.
