Abstract:
The study was conducted to examine food consumption and the Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria. Two-stage random sampling techniques were used to select 120 households as sample size for the study. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics (such as mean, frequency distribution count and percentages) and inferential statistics (multiple regressions). The result of the findings showed that respondent in the study area were relatively young, married with high literacy level. More so, factors include lockdown, social distancing, ban on interstate movement, and reduce meal number were the major factors influencing food consumption pattern during Covid-19. Lastly, age (p
