Abstract:
For comparative purposes this paper presents a translation of the outline of a sixteen‐hour course designed to introduce Soviet students in higher educational institutions to sources of scientific and technical information. The plan provides for lecture and practice in the study of Soviet and foreign bibliography, adaptation to specialties, and an introduction to mechanized techniques.
