The new “termatrex” line of I.R. Systems—the “Minimatrex” line of I.R. Systems

Frederick Jonker

American Documentation, 1963, vol. 14, issue 4, 276-282

Abstract: In 1960, Jonker Business Machines introduced the first model of its Termatrex line of I.R. equipment. Since then, a number of new Termatrex systems have been added. At present, a new line, the Minimatrex line, is being introduced. This article describes the complete line of Termatrex equipment and the line of Minimatrex equipment. Both the Termatrex and Minimatrix lines can be integrated with conventional punched card systems, computers, and microform document stores. Also described in this article is the integration of the conventional data‐processing equipment and the Termatrex and Minimatrex “inverted Data Processing” equipment.
