The Path to Full Employment? ‘They're Dreamin'!’

Abstract: This short article critically reviews Mitchell and Watts's Buffer Stock Employer (BSE) model proposal. It concludes that the BSE scheme is unlikely to reduce the long‐run unemployment rate.
