Bulletin of Economic Research, 2022, vol. 74, issue 1, 308-316

Abstract: Many countries have specific measures to increase the employment of people with a disability. However, there is no empirical evidence on how individuals with and without some form of physical disability interact with each other. We use the public good game to fill this gap. We find that the interaction with physically disabled individuals does not affect group cooperation nor the cooperativeness of participants without visible physical disabilities. Our results shed light on the social inclusion of people with disability in organizations.
