FREEHOLDS AND FREEDOM: THE IMPORTANCE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY IN PROMOTING AND SECURING LIBERTY

Paul Johnson

Economic Affairs, 2008, vol. 28, issue 4, 32-35

Abstract: In the seventeenth annual IEA Hayek Memorial Lecture, the author examines the historical connection between individual property and individual liberty. Accordingly, the protection of private property should be given high priority in our system of law.
