Abstract: Hardship Duty by Stephanie Bonnes is reviewed. The book analyzes 50 interviews of U.S. servicewomen and focuses on their experiences of sexual violence. The author has made important theoretical contributions that are transferable to other institutions and organizations. She also provides thorough recommendations for reform.
