The Technology Fund is a new climate policy instrument of the Swiss federal government. The Fund targets the promotion of innovative technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and natural resource consumption or support energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy. Since January 2015, companies developing and commercializing such novel products can apply for loan guarantees covered by the Swiss Technology Fund.
