Trust in the retirement system and investment decisions of property investors

Abstract: Using Australian national‐level survey data and applying Poisson regressions, we show that property investors who have more trust in the retirement system tend to own fewer investment properties. This finding is robust to various estimation methods, sample sizes, and periods.
