Testing Two Treatments When There are Three Experimental Units in Each Block

Peter W. M. John

Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1962, vol. 11, issue 3, 164-169

Abstract: In this article Dr John discusses the experimental situation where the block size is one greater than the number of treatments to be compared, and gives general directions for the analysis. He describes in greater detail the analysis of a specific problem in which two treatments were to be compared at different levels of another factor, and where the block size was three.
