Abstract:
The problems attached to the use of acceptance sampling plans for Patrol Inspection are examined. Some short‐comings of conventional sampling plans are indicated and alternative methods suggested. The use of different types of two‐stage sampling plans for patrol inspection is then described. The practical advantages and disadvantages are indicated.
