Abstract:
The problem of comparing two objects, each of which possesses a number of different attributes (which may be independent or correlated), is reviewed against the background of a particular problem in forensic science. A computer program which enables the upper percentage points of a suitable test statistic to be obtained is described and its results are used in the above application.
