The Measurement of Branch Sales Performance
Bernard T. Ramm
Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1952, vol. 1, issue 2, 126-130
Abstract:
This article shows how figures of turnover have been used to measure the progress of a retail shop in a multiple firm relative to that of the firm as a whole, and how the departments in the shop responsible for any trends are discovered. The methods are illustrated by figures for a firm of retail grocers, but they have a wide application.
