Abstract:
It is shown how, by neglecting or losing information on high‐order interactions, 2n factorial paired comparison designs can be constructed so as to be substantially smaller than the round robin, but which are more efficient in their estimation of main effects and lower‐order interactions. The analysis of such designs is given.
