Abstract:
Estimation techniques in a modified binomial distribution, developed to describe thunderstorm activity over a small area at Cape Kennedy, Florida, are compared. A compound model is developed and compared with the original model. Both models are fitted to thunderstorm data obtained at Cape Kennedy, Florida.
