Plotting Probability Ellipses
D. G. Altman
Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1978, vol. 27, issue 3, 347-349
Abstract:
Healy (1972) described a procedure for drawing a probability ellipse of a bivariate Normal distribution. This needs modification if the ellipse is drawn with different scales for x and y. More accurate ellipse plotting methods are discussed briefly.
