Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the X2 goodness‐of‐fit test when the observed frequencies are distributed according to a multinomial distribution with specified probabilities. Tables are given of percentage points of the C(m) distribution which is derived from that of X2 under the assumption that, as n → ∞, some expectations remain finite while the rest are large.
