Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1953, vol. 2, issue 3, 152-159
Abstract:
This article describes a sampling experiment on the agricultural returns of June 1951 in which national totals for labour, acreage, and livestock items were estimated from one‐half of the parishes. Various methods were used for making the estimates, and the results are compared with actual totals to give guidance for future procedure.
