The Evaluation of Detergent Performance in Domestic Dishwashing
Clifford Pugh
Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1953, vol. 2, issue 3, 172-179
Abstract:
Statistical analysis is here used in the development of a practical dishwashing test for detergents. Mr Pugh gives a nomogram for assisting in testing the significance of results, and 'power curves' for showing what difference in performance can be significant for a given number of tests, or alternatively how many tests are required to make a given difference significant.
