A Growth Curve Analysis for Edp Curves
Martin Crowder
Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1983, vol. 32, issue 1, 15-18
Abstract:
A class of exponentially damped polynomial (EDP) regression models was suggested by Crowder and Tredger (1981) to describe biological recovery data. Certain specifications are made here on the distribution of parameters over individuals which lead to exact expressions for the unconditional mean and variance of the nonlinear response curve. The analysis is also extended to more general designs than a single treatment group.
