Sales Forecasting: An Evaluation of Some Practical Results

Abstract:
Mr Liston describes the procedures for making the forecasts required by his firm for budgetary purposes and shows that in the varying conditions that have obtained since the war the forecasts have been reliable enough to be useful. Sales forecasting, he states, is compounded of art, experience, and technical skill.
