Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1957, vol. 6, issue 3, 189-197
Abstract:
In an earlier article Miss Gibson and Dr Jowett described some applications of the ‘three‐group’ method to simple regression analysis. The present article shows how the method can be extended to give a multiple regression equation with two independent variables, together with estimates of the residual scatter and the standard errors of the regression coefficients.
