The Economic Incentive Provided by Sampling Inspection

I. D. Hill

Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, 1960, vol. 9, issue 2, 69-81

Abstract: In this article Mr Hill considers two aspects of sampling inspection—the curative and the incentive. He discusses the importance of the incentive aspect and indicates a possible line of approach to a theory of sampling inspection which takes this aspect into account.
