Abstract:
Abstract. In order to obtain an estimate of three‐dimensional energy transfer in grid‐generated turbulence, second and third order spectra are statistically estimated. A Monte Carlo Fourier transformation of bispectra is carried out so as to gauge energy transfer between wavenumber shells.
