Abstract: Einige einfache Postulate fur die Arbeitsteilung in eincr bürokratischen Organisation werden aufgestellt and das hierarchische Prinzip wird abgeleitet. Unter gewissen Bedingungen ergibt sich eine konstante Kontrollspanne als die effizienteste Struktur. Die Verteilung der Ränge erzeugt eine Einkommensverteilung, welche im einfachsten Falle paretianisch ist. Aggregation über Organisationen überträgt diese Verteilung auf die Volkswirtschaft. Some simple postulates concerning the division of labour in organisations are examined. A hierarchical structure is derived, and in particular a constant span of control is deduced from conditions of efficiency. The distribution of rank generates a distribution of income which in the simplest case is shown to be Paretian. Aggregation over organisations preserves this distribution. L'auteur du présent article vérifie quelques postulats simples relatifs à la division du travail dans une organisation bureaucratique et dérive le principe de la structure hiérarchique. Sous certaines conditions it apparait qu'une tension constante de contrôle soit la structure la plus efficace. La distribution de rangs engendre une distribution des revenus qui, dans le cas le plus simple, apparait comme une distribution selon Pareto. Une optique globale des organisations permet de transposer cette distribution à l'économie nationale.
