Local theory for 2‐microlocal Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces of Jaffard type

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce new 2‐microlocal Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces of Jaffard type, which contain many classical functions. We establish local theory of these function spaces by the φ‐transform and the wavelet decomposition coefficients. Moreover, we give a characterization of these local spaces by a local polynomial approximation.
