Abstract:
ABSTRACT Since the late 1960s, a new kind of large‐scale, regional science has begun to replace the more intuitive, ad hoc approaches proposed initially in the 1950s. The characteristics of these developments are explored for the lessons they may provide for future efforts by individuals and loams of re ware hers.
