 The impact of COVID‐19 on logistics and coping strategies: A literature reviewZhen Li, Wen Gu and Qingfeng Meng Regional Science Policy & Practice, 2023, vol. 15, issue 8, 1768-1794 Abstract: The COVID‐19 pandemic has posed many challenges to the continuous development of logistics and has received increasing attention from all sectors of society. This paper systematically reviews 85 related papers; sets the framework of literature analysis on the basis of five fields of logistics: life, e‐commerce, healthcare, air transportation, and emergency; systematically composes and analyzes the scope and content of the impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic on logistics in different fields; and comprehensively shows the current status of research on the impact of COVID‐19 on the continuous development of logistics. On this basis, we combed out the diverse measures of government, enterprises, and related institutions for the logistics problems that have emerged, and put forward some prospects for future research in this field in terms of multi‐period strategies, multi‐factor evaluation, degree of impacts, and quantification of effects. The work in this paper has some reference value and significance for mitigating or eliminating the negative impact of COVID‐19 on the continuous development process of logistics in multiple fields, rationalizing the epidemic response measures and expanding and deepening the research on this topic. La pandemia de COVID‐19 ha planteado numerosos retos para el desarrollo continuo de la logística y ha recibido una atención cada vez mayor por parte de todos los sectores de la sociedad. Este artículo consiste en una revisión sistemática de 85 artículos relacionados, para la cual: establece el marco de análisis de la literatura sobre la base de cinco campos de la logística, como la vida, el comercio electrónico, la asistencia sanitaria, el transporte aéreo y las emergencias; compone y analiza sistemáticamente el alcance y el contenido del impacto de la pandemia de COVID‐19 en diferentes campos de la logística; y muestra en profundidad el estado actual de la investigación sobre el impacto de COVID‐19 en el desarrollo continuo de la logística. Partiendo de esta base, se hizo un cribado de las diversas medidas que han surgido por parte del gobierno, las empresas y las instituciones relacionadas con los problemas logísticos, y se plantean algunas perspectivas para futuras investigaciones en este campo en términos de estrategias multiperiodo, evaluación multifactorial, graduación de impactos y cuantificación de efectos. El trabajo de este artículo tiene cierto valor de referencia e importancia para mitigar o eliminar el impacto negativo de COVID‐19 en el proceso de desarrollo continuo de la logística en múltiples campos, racionalizar las medidas de respuesta a la epidemia y ampliar y profundizar la investigación sobre este tema.
