Abstract: Digitization, sustainability, and human resources are topics that primarily influence activity of organizations today. Technological revolution is fundamentally affecting all industries and has socio-economic consequences by using advances digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, etc. The current trend of business forces business leaders to reorganize the business to support digital transformation with sustainability challenges. This contribution deals with the role of digital transformation as a strategic instrument, strengthening the economies of a number of countries and the efficiency of organizations in the digital age. Paper presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review on the role of digital transformation in sustainable human resource management. The aim is to understand the current state of research, identify key subjects and provide insights into the future directions of this field. Results confirm that the digital transformation has the potential to support sustainability. In future developments, companies need to integrate sustainability considerations into their digital strategies and see digital transformation as an enabler of sustainable development. In this way, organizations can achieve operational efficiencies, become more competitive, drive innovation and contribute to the sustainability.
