Abstract:
Actually, the world is faced with the worst public health and economic crisis of a century. The health issue affects all European and North American nations, including high-income countries. The necessary measures taken to respond to the immediate threat posed by Covid-19, including the long closure of many economic activities, have resulted in a global economic crisis with substantial job losses and major impacts, especially on vulnerable groups. This is an important setback to the global ambition, particularly for developing countries and population groups, to achieve the SDGs. However, it is a proven reality that digital societies seem to be working better towards achieving goals of sustainability.
