Abstract: The present paper aims to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is integrated into mechatronic systems in the automotive sector and to address the management and ethical challenges associated with this implementation. The paper highlights the importance of management in coordinating the complex processes required for AI adoption, emphasizing the role of multidisciplinary teams in guaranteeing success. At the same time, the ethical challenges related to the explainability of AI algorithms, the transparency of automated decisions and the protection of personal data are discussed. The paper emphasizes the need for flexible management strategies that facilitate the responsible integration of AI, balancing technological advantages with safety and social impact. Thus, the main contribution of the paper is the formulation of applied management and ethics solutions that support the sustainable and responsible development of emerging technologies in the automotive industry.
