Abstract: The role played the small and medium - sized enterprises (SME) in the economy is very important because of the help that give for the economic development and the job creation. The SMEs, in both advanced market economies and economies in transition and their considerable contribution to employment and economic dynamism in the most industrialized countries suggest that this experience can be used for sustainable development of developing countries. It is clear that a vibrant SME sector can bring great benefits to developing countries.
