STUDY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ROMANIAN COMPANIES LISTED ON BUCHAREST STOCK EXCHANGE USING A GENERAL DIAGNOSIS MODEL

Abstract: The necessity of completing broad appraisals on the performances of companies listed on the Romanian stock market led to the execution of the present study, within its framework being undertaken the development and implementation of a general diagnosis model of their overall performance. Such a model was built with the help of statistical processing, starting from eight performance indicators considered to be the most representative ones. The level of these indicators was determined for 36 companies listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange belonging to various activity sectors of the national economy, for the timeframe 2009-2013.
