Abstract:
Over the years, research studies in the business field have focussed on the contribution of foreign direct investments to the development of small and medium sized enterprises and their impact upon the host country. Foreign companies have a positive effect on the production of the host countries units. Companies providing foreign direct investments on an emerging market exercise a competitive pressure which generates economic evolution for the receiving state.
