Abstract: In Romania, the first case of Covid-19 was reported on February 26, 2020 and since then, nothing has been the same. The government implemented a range of measures to delay the spread of the virus, which severely impacted the economic activity. At the end of 2020, we had a very clear perspective of the total number of Covid-19 cases and the total number of deaths caused by the virus, but in this research, I want to highlight the impact of the first year of the pandemic on Romania`s economic growth.
