Abstract: This article proposes a literature review regarding the use of artificial intelligence in management processes, a central issue that addresses how the integration of AI can change traditional decision-making processes inside organizations. The research presented in this article is based on a search in the Scopus database on "artificial intelligence and management decisions", that resulted in 103 publications (articles, conference papers, etc.) found, of which 63 were analysed with the help of the R-Studio Bibliometrix software, identifying various aspects of the evolution of the concept between 1984 and 2025, by using generated data and graphs. The usage of current virtual assistance and decision simulation tools, can offers managers a number of significant advantages, which can influence in a positive manner, both the operational efficiency and the strategic success of an organization. There are also risks associated with the use of these technologies, and it is important for managers to be aware of these aspects in order to be able to manage them effectively. This research aims to analyse how AI can be integrated into decision-making processes in an efficient and easy way, without harming transparency or human accountability. The results of the research will be useful both for senior managers, who establish the organization s development strategies, for mid-level managers and for specialists directly involved in the implementation of AI solutions in management processes.
