CONSIDERATIONS ON EUROPEAN UNION`S INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to studying the EU27 relative level of competitiveness using a comparative analysis with its main competitors USA and Japan and also with China, the most emergent economy in the world. The first part of the article is dedicated to presenting the analysis and the methodology. In the second part of the paper we presented the results obtained. The competitiveness analysis is also graphically presented, based on the indexes published by the World Economic Forum in their annual reports. The conclusions are formulated on the basis of the comparative analysis and the evolution of the indexes used.
