Abstract:
Considering the situation created by the global financial crisis, the Romanian banking system has gone from excess of liquidity to deficit, namely from an aggressive lending activity to a significant reduction of credit growth rate. Therefore, in the conditions of uncertainty caused by economic and financial crisis became obvious the deterioration of loan portfolio quality. The aim of this article is to show the determinant factors of mortgage loan dynamics, the correlations between lending activity and the medium houses prices, medium net wage and unemployment rate in Romania.
