Abstract:
The economic crisis that has been installed globally in recent years, was manifested differently in Romania. Our country didn?t finish the transition process from a planned economy to a super market economy. For a good understanding, is needed to study entire post communist period. After 1989, the transition process which crossed the country from a planned economy to a super market economy has meant a constantly changing industry dynamics and hence the occupational profile of the population in all areas of the country regardless of population size and level of economic development. The main processes that have led to changes in the industrial profile of the cities were economic restructuring and privatization in most cases completed by deindustrialization and economic decline. Labor market developments reflecting changes in the economy after the restructuring and privatization, the market felt: loss of job security, reduction of employment and a significant increase in unemployment. Workforce both in quantity and quality ratio is dependent on economic development and the evolution of the total population.
